Terms of service
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Tamari, operated by Tamari DevRel, Nigeria. They are written to be read. If anything is unclear, ask us at hello@usetamari.com.
1. The service
Tamari connects developer relations activity (website visits, GitHub, Discord and events) to product outcomes such as signups and first API calls, and produces dashboards and monthly reports. These terms are an agreement between Tamari DevRel (“we”) and the company or person that creates a Tamari workspace (“you”). By creating an account or using Tamari, you accept them. If you accept them for a company, you confirm you may bind it.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- You must be 18 or over, and sign in with an email address you control.
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspaces, including what teammates you invite do there.
- Keep your sign-in methods secure, and tell us at hello@usetamari.com if you think your account has been misused.
- Workspace owners manage billing and roles. A workspace always keeps at least one owner.
3. Your data
You own the data you send to Tamari. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as our privacy policy describes.
For developer data, you are the controller and we are your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it, for telling the developers concerned, including about the snippet's cookie on your sites, and for any consent your law requires. You must not send sensitive data such as health, financial or government ID information.
You can delete any developer, set how long data is kept, export your data as CSV files, and delete a workspace or your account in Settings. A deleted workspace's data is erased within 30 days, usually within a day.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Tamari to break the law, or to collect data from people in breach of their rights;
- send invitations or other email through Tamari to people who have not asked to work with you;
- try to reach another workspace's data, probe or break Tamari's security, or overload the service;
- use the integrations against GitHub's or Discord's own terms;
- resell Tamari, or copy it to build a competing service.
We may limit or suspend a workspace that breaks these rules. We will tell you why, unless the law or security forbids it.
5. Plans and payment
- Free is free for up to 250 tracked developers. Team costs $149 a month or $1,490 a year for up to 5,000. Scale costs $399 a month or $3,990 a year for up to 25,000. Prices are in US dollars.
- New workspaces start with a 14-day Team trial. It needs no card and ends on Freeunless you upgrade. Free workspaces created before trials began keep a limit of 500 tracked developers.
- A tracked developer is a developer with recorded activity in the last 30 days.
- Over your plan's limit, Tamari keeps recording. Report exports and new share links pause until you upgrade or usage falls.
- Lemon Squeezy sells paid plans as merchant of record. It charges you, adds tax where it applies, and issues invoices, under its own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Contact us about refunds; Lemon Squeezy processes any refund we agree.
- Workspaces given early access, or a plan by us, keep it until we tell you otherwise with at least 30 days' notice.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change. It applies from your next billing period.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Tamari available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we offer no uptime guarantee. Attribution is a model of what probably influenced a signup, not a certainty. We may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period.
7. Liability
Tamari is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Tamari and delete your account in Settings at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or at once if you seriously break these terms. When the agreement ends, you lose access, and we delete your workspaces' data within 30 days.
9. Law, changes and contact
The laws of Nigeria govern these terms. Disputes go to the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
We may update these terms. We will email workspace owners at least 30 days before a change that reduces your rights takes effect. Continuing to use Tamari after that means you accept the change.
