Prove what DevRel produces.

Tamari follows the trail from talks, docs, Discord and GitHub to first API call, then writes the monthly report your execs actually forward.

  • Emails hashed and encrypted
  • No fingerprinting
  • Do Not Track honoured

DevRel does work that matters, like talks, docs, Discord and demos. When budget season comes, “the community loves us” isn’t a number. Tamari turns that work into one you can defend.

How it works

Connect. Trace. Report.

    Connect your sources

Connect GitHub and Discord in a few clicks, read-only. Add one script tag to your docs, put tracked links in your talks and posts, import event attendee lists, and send signups and first API calls from your backend.

    Follow every trail

Tamari links anonymous docs visits to the developer who later signs up. Four attribution models split the credit. Signups that can’t be traced stay out of the count.

    Send the report

Each month gets a report with the headline number, the funnel, top content and top event, and how many signups were traced. Forward it as a link or an A4 PDF.

The monthly report

Written for the person who signs off your budget.

  • One headline number. Activated developers this month, and the change from last month.

  • What moved it. Top content and top event, each credited from the touches before signup.

  • What we don’t know. The share of signups we couldn’t trace is stated up front, so nobody has to ask.

Understanding, not surveillance

Your community trusts you. We keep it that way.

  • Identifiers are hashed

Emails and user IDs are hashed with a key unique to your workspace. Emails are also encrypted, and the dashboard shows them masked.

  • No fingerprinting

The snippet sets one first-party cookie. It honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and visitors can opt out.

  • No messages, ever

The Discord bot records who posted in which channel and when. It never stores what they wrote, and it has no access to DMs or voice.

  • Read-only access

The GitHub app has read-only permissions, so it cannot change code, issues or settings. The Discord bot can only view channels.

  • We don’t guess

If a signup can’t be traced to an earlier touch, it gets no credit. It is counted as untraced, not filled in.

  • Delete on request

Delete any developer and every record about them, and stop recording them. Data older than your retention limit, 12 months by default, is deleted every night.

Every new workspace starts with 14 days of Team, no card needed, then moves to Free unless you upgrade. A tracked developer has activity in the last 30 days. Past the limit, recording continues and exports pause until you upgrade. Workspaces created during early access stay free, with no limit. Prices are in USD; Lemon Squeezy adds tax where it applies.

Questions

Tamari looks at a developer’s touches in the 90 days before they sign up (you can change the window). It then splits the credit using the model you choose: first touch, last touch, linear or time decay. Every model is shown, so you can compare them.

It gets no credit and is counted as untraced. The match rate on the dashboard and in the report shows how many signups were traced. Tamari never estimates the missing share.

Yes, inside your workspace. To credit the right talk or doc, Tamari links a developer’s visits to their signup. Emails are hashed and encrypted, and the dashboard masks them. Public GitHub usernames are shown in full. You can delete any developer on request. Data is never shared between workspaces.

GitHub and Discord connect from Settings in a few clicks. Add a script tag to your docs and site, and call the API from your backend when someone signs up or makes their first API call. The snippet is about 1.5 KB and has no dependencies. Event attendee lists import from a CSV, such as a Luma or Eventbrite export.

Yes, for GitHub: every fork, the issues and pull requests opened within your attribution window, and past stars on repositories where you are an admin or collaborator. Discord activity is recorded from the day the bot joins. Event attendance comes from the lists you import.

Yes. Invite teammates as members or admins, on every plan. Admins manage settings and integrations, and owners manage billing. One person can belong to several workspaces.

Next month, walk in with the number.

Connect GitHub or add the snippet today. Your first activity shows up within minutes.
